Not making John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan’s Dostana 2 right now: Director

Director Tarun Mansukhani today said that as of now he is not planning to make a sequel to his hit film ‘Dostana’.

‘Dostana’ a comedy film directed by Tarun Mansukhani and the makers are planning a sequel since quite some time.

“I would be directing a film but it is not ‘Dostana 2’. I am not making ‘Dostana 2? right now. But now it is an ego thing so I will make ‘Dostana 2’ some day,” Tarun said at an event.

There were reports that Arjun Rampal will be cast as a addition to the series, which will also have Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham reprising their roles from the previous movie.

Reportedly Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif might play the leading lady in ‘Dostana 2’.

John Abraham To Play Gama Pehlwan In His Next

John Abraham, the handsome actor who turned producer with his JA Entertainment, is all happy these days. While his wedding is the main reason of his happiness, multiple films being in pipeline for his production company takes some credit as well.

After announcing movies on motorcycle racing and football, John has now confirmed a sports biopic too.

As per reports, the film will be based on the life of legendary Indian wrestler Gulaam Mohammad alias Great Gama Pehalwan and John plans to make use of his bulky body in the movie by playing the lead in it too.

The Badmaash Company director Parmeet Sethi will helm the project and he plans to shoot the movie mainly in North India. The film is slated to go on floor later this year.

Sakshi Chowdhary signed opposite John in Hera Pheri 3

The dosti between John Abraham and producer Firoz Nadiadwala is final. After Welcome Back Akshay Kumar has been replaced by John Abraham in Hera Pheri 3. And John Abraham’s romantic lead on this project would be a young pretty model-turned-actress Sakshi Chowdhary.

Though the girl from Dehra Doon is being kept strictly under wraps by the protective producer as he wishes to unveil his debutante elaborately, one got to know of the newcomer after Firoz was overheard raving about Sakshi whom he had seen in a South Indian film.

Says the source, “When Firoz met the young hopeful actress, he was very impressed by her confidence poise and beauty. Firoz immediately signed Sakshi for a 3-film deal. The first of these would be the long-delayed third film in the Hera Pheri franchise which got stalled after Firoz’s fall-out with Akshay. John has now taken over the franchise. The leading lady just fell into place when Sakshi walked into Firoz’s office.”

Sakshi Chowdhary is the winner of Gladrags 2011. She has done a Telugu film Portugadu opposite Manoj Manchu.

John Abraham gets hitched to girlfriend Priya Runchal

After a web of controversies post his break-up with Bipasha Basu, it took quite some time for John to be open about his relationship with girlfriend Priya Runchal. And now after being haunted with speculations for more than a year, it is confirmed that John recently tied the knot with Priya at a rather private ceremony in Los Angeles this New Year.

John’s dad, an architect by profession, revealed that this wedding was pre-planned and that the two preferred a simple court marriage that does not involve too many rituals and traditions. While none of his friends from the industry have been a part of this wedding, they took on to twitter to wish the actor. “Congrats @TheJohnAbraham .. Wish u and Priya all the happiness in the world!! God bless..Lots of love! :)” tweeted Sophie Choudry.

Shoojit Sircar, one of John’s closest pals too wasn’t a part of the wedding but was aware of the developments. He also claimed that John and Priya are private people and hence preferred to keep their wedding a low key affair.

Priya is an investment banker and financial analyst and is currently in the U.S. pursuing higher studies.

John Abraham Is Married Now

The Bollywood Hunk, who scorched the screen with his hotness quotient, John Abraham, starts the New Year by breaking zillion hearts. The hottie took to social networking site, Twitter, to break the news of his marriage in a very tactful manner.

The Desi-boy tweeted at 4 am earlier this morning, “Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed 2014! May this year bring you love, good fortune and joy. Love, John and Priya Abraham”. Hence, confirming his marriage news!

There were rumbling rumors about John marrying girlfriend Priya Runchal, in Los Angeles in 2013, but John downright shunned the piece of news. But here he is calling Priya, Mrs Abraham on social networking site while wishing the world.

John had in the past dated Bollywood’s dusky babe, Bipasha Basu. They were labeled ‘The Couple” of the tinsel town. But that ended after years of relationship in 2011. In 2010, he met Priya at a Bandra gym, plus through mutual friends. Since then the couple have been spotted on numerous occasions together.

Priya is an Investment banker and it seems she has now got John invested in the institution of marriage. Here’s wishing the couple hearty wishes on their marriage!
