Brave Sunny Shoots In Chilly Waters For Ragini MMS 2

Sunny Leone is proving to be a hard core actor when it comes to tackling a difficult scene. Shedding her Baby Doll image, recently shooting for her upcoming horror flick Ragini MMS 2, Sunny did something rather extraordinarily brave.

The actress had to shoot a scene which required her to step into icy cold water of a city lake. While we would go through chills only hearing, Sunny kept up with the cold water and shot her scene. Apparently, there was also a scare of water snakes in the lake, but an unhesitating Sunny put on her brave shades and did the scene anyway without any tantrums.

While no water snakes were observed during the shoot, Sunny did catch some skin allergy from the chilly waters. Atta girl! We reward Sunny’s courage and professionalism!

Aamir’s P.K Postponed To Accommodate Sanjay Dutt

While P.K. is one of the much-awaited films coming from the successful 3 Idiots trio, we hear,the film’s delay from a May release to a Christmas release isn’t because of Aamir’s fascination for the due to Dhoom 3‘s success. The film’s lead actor, Aamir Khan confessed to a popular daily, that he still has sleepless nights and nightmares before every release. Talking about P.K., he said the burden was more on the writer-director Rajkumar Hirani.

Aamir further stated that the film’s director Rajkumar Hirani is keen on spending more time on editing, thus pushing the release date to Christmas. The actor also mentioned that, the film which stars Sanjay Dutt has some portions of Sanjay pending for shoot due to the actor’s ill-timed conviction.

Looks like we will have to wait a long time  for this biggie to release while Aamir will shift focus on Satyamev Jayate.

Aamir Khan Will Hit The Mountain Man’s Road In Satyamev Jayate 2

The famed Aamir Khan show Satyamev Jayate which got huge adulation from audiences in 2012 is set for its season 2. Throwing light on the social issues that India has been facing, the show is now coming up with newer issues to discuss.

The perfectionist that he is, Aamir Khan brings something unique to the show this time. The actor is going to shoot an episode on the legendary road that was carved by an inspiring man Dashrath Manjhi. Aamir had previously touched upon this inspiring tale in the first episode ‘The Idea of India’ of season one, as per reports of a popular daily.

The actor will be travelling to Bihar to shoot a part of his episode on Saturday (22nd Feb)on the same road that Manjhi had carved. Manjhi dedicated 22 years of his life in carving that road from a mountain, finding it highly inspiring and highlighting the strength of a common man, Aamir decided to include this as a part of the show.

Now we know why Aamir is the best choice for Satyamev Jayate!

 

Salman To Do A ‘Judwaa’ Again After 17 Years For Sooraj Barjatya’s Next?

According to a leading news daily, Salman Khan may be playing a double role in Sooraj Barjatya’s film. Last seen in Judwaa in a double role, the pleasure for all Salman Khan fans would be doubled if the actor goes Judwaa for his next.

The film would be unlike any trademark Barjatya film. Although the script of the film is still in its nascent stage, we hear that its has a special connection to director Sooraj Barjatya and that the subject of the film has been close to the director’s father.

While the cast of the film is still not in place,according to industry insiders Deepika Padukone was approached for the lead role. Although Deepika has time and again refused of any involvement with the project. Now the buzz is that Sonam Kapoor has been roped in for the film.

The film is slated for the Diwali release next year.

 

Hrithik Unhappy With Body Doubles; Performs ‘Bang Bang’ Stunts Himself

Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif is definitely one of the most awaited films of 2014 given the leading duo’s infallible chemistry. Directed by Siddharth Anand , it is an official remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day.

The film which has a quite a lot of action stunts has been in the news after Hrithik Roshan suffered a severe injury while shooting for a dangerous action sequence. The accident resulted in the actor undergoing an immediate brain surgery and has still not recuperated fully from it.

It was earlier reported that the actors will be using body doubles to perform their stunts. However, when Hrithik went to Shimla to shoot the schedule, he was very unhappy with the work done and re-shot himself all over again for the same, reported a popular leading daily. Hrithik has always believed in performing his own stunts but given his trembling health it would have been preferable to use body doubles. The actor’s dedication heaved over however and he decided to take it all in his own hands.

The action sequences have been choreographed by International stuntman Andy Armstrong of Amazing Spiderman 2. We have previously seen Hrithik Roshan pull off grave action sequences in Krrish, and the superhero’s ill health too can’t come in way even this time.

Vidya Balan Is Not Pregnant!

Currently promoting her upcoming film, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Vidya Balan was swamped with questions about her own shaadi and mainly its after effects. Especially, on the recent rumors about Vidya being pregnant due to her frequent visits to the doctor.

In fact, recently to promote her film, Vidya attended a Dance reality show where she refused to join the contestants for a dance. Not just that, but gossip mongers also quipped that she was dressed in a lose gown that gave everyone the idea that there may be good news on the cards.

However, denying all such rumors, Vidya spoke to a popular daily saying she is not pregnant and, it will take a while now. She added that there is no such news coming up in the near future atleast.

Well, it looks like the ‘Kahaani’ she has been telling us is what we must go by until any confirmation.

Ranbir Kapoor Starrer ‘Roy’ To Go On Floors This March

Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series, is ready to start the shoot of his next home production film Roy from this March end. Roy a romantic-action-drama stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role along with Arjun Rampal as a director and Jacqueline Fernandez in a double role.

The film slated to release on 12th September 2014 will be directed by debutant director Vikramjit Singh. The shoot for the first schedule of the film starts on 28th March in Mumbai which will go one for 15 days.

Bhushan Kumar excited with this project says, “Roy is a sole T-Series produced film that will go on floors on 28th March in Mumbai. The production and directorial team has already started the pre-production work. The Mumbai schedule will be on for 15 days and then we move to an international schedule that will go on for 45 days. Vikram and his team are working day in and day out with our team and ensuring everything is in place for the film to start.”

 

 

 

What Arjun Kapoor Learnt From Salman Khan?

He was a producer’s kid but he did not get latched to the idea of acting with his father’s venture. Instead it was Salman Khan who proposed the idea to Arjun Kapoor. The actor, whose next is all set to release on 14th February, has found a mentor in the Dabangg Khan.

Arjun spoke rather warmly about the superstar. Ask Him what he learnt from Salman, Arjun glints up with pride and answers, “The best thing about Salman bhai is that he never gets affected by success or failure.”

Salman is known to be the most controversial star in the industry and Arjun confided that he has coped well with all the lows of his life well by the plain mantra the star follows, ” Beyond a point he doesn’t care a sh*t about anything. Salman bhai has always had a lot of confidence in me. From him I learnt that never get bogged down by anything negative written about you.”

AR Rahman again honored with doctrate!

Composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, Oscar winner musician, multi-instrumentalist and philanthropist A. R. Rahman has been conferred with a Doctorate by The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.

Having won many other prestigious awards and titles, Rahman said He’s humbled by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s honoris causa Doctor of Music degree!

Skilled in Carnatic music, Western classical, Hindustani music and the Qawwali style of Music, Rahman also performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra along with KM College of Music and Technology students in Glasgow.

This is the second time AR Rahman has been honored with doctorate. He was honored with the same in 2009 by Middlesex University.

Ranveer Singh says he has not beaten photographer at Ahana’s wedding!

We all know that Ahana Deol’s wedding reception was a starry affair. From Big B to Shah Rukh Khan, who’s who of Bollywood was part of the celebration. But amidst all the celebrations, there was a fight too! Yes, you read it right.

According to reports, Ranveer Singh lost his cool and allegedly thrashed a cameraman. Ranveer and Deepika played the madly in love couple at the reception and were enjoying each other’s company. A photographer clicked photographs of the two of them and this upset Ranveer.

Ranveer not only deleted the pictures from the camera but he also manhandled the photographer.

But Ranveer denies the reports and said the entire episode has been blown out of proportion.

“It is not true. We were all at a wedding reception and we were at a private party there which was happening in a different enclosure. The person who was taking the photos was taking it without permission, he was not a wedding photographer, he was taking photos secretly. I told him it is not right, if you would ask for a photo I would not say no, but you are taking photos without permission,” Ranveer Singh told reporters.

Replying to a question that he had beaten the photographer for taking his pictures, the actor said: “I am 28 years old now and since the last seven years I have not beaten up anyone. I did not get wild but made him understood. There were security people around me, so there was no need to beat him up. I think it the story is made up to spoil my name.”
